Within trivago’sDeals product teams, we focus on delivering the best hotel deals and personalized recommendations to our users. Our deal experience is powered by a competitive auction marketplace that balances user interests, advertiser goals, and sustainable monetization.

As a Product Manager in Deals, you’ll play a key role in shaping one of these areas by defining and executing data-driven product strategies. You will collaborate cross-functionally to develop algorithmic optimizations and product enhancements, assess the broader impact of changes across interconnected product areas, and work with other stakeholders to ensure seamless trivago experience.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Identify and evaluate opportunities through algorithmic changes.
  • Define and own business KPIs, developing product strategies to drive measurable impact.
  • Conceptualize, launch, and refine products and features by leveraging user research and continuous experimentation, performance analysis, and rapid iteration.
  • Work closely with engineers, data scientists, product designers, and user researchers throughout product development cycle.
  • Drive strong stakeholder management by building trusted relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for your area, and ensuring clear communication and alignment.

What you’ll need to thrive:

  • 5+ years experience as a Product Manager or relevant working experience.
  • Strong analytical mindset with interest in data, analytics and technology.
  • A pro-active, pragmatic, value-oriented mindset to drive for results and handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, effectively manage expectations, and align diverse teams toward shared goals.
  • Good technical understanding and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop hypotheses.
  • Ability to break down complex and cross-functional technical projects into well-sequenced deliverables.
  • Excellent communication skills as well as high levels of emotional intelligence and empathy.
  • Structured approach to knowledge sharing and documentation.

Stand out with:

  • A passion for technology and interest in the the travel industry.
  • Demonstrated history of running successful projects in the travel or e-commerce space.
  • Experience in business model evaluation and forecasting.
  • An educational background in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a similar, relevant field.
  • Good understanding of how API’s work.
  • Basic knowledge of SQL to create reports or insights.
  • Experience with Data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker.
