IT Security Officer Network

In order to strengthen the delivery organisation, ING Luxembourg is looking for an IT Security Officer Network (m / f) on a permanent contract.

We are looking for you if you have:

• Experience in information security, risk management, or compliance
• Experience with networks: TCP/IP protocols, cryptography algorithms, routing, firewalls, proxies, WAF, network segmentation, etc.
• Strong analytical skills
• Familiarity with IT risk assessment methods and control frameworks such as ISO27001, NIST, COBIT, SOC2
• Proven ability to present and communicate with senior management and key stakeholders
• The personality and capabilities to function effectively within an Agile environment
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; knowledge of French is a plus

• Relevant security certifications such as ISO27001LA, CISA, CISM, CISSP
• Relevant network certifications such as Cisco CCNP, CCIE

Your role and responsibilities:

Support the IT Security team with a focus on networking, collaborating closely with other tech teams and management.

Main responsibilities include:

• Conduct information security assessments of networking topics and advise management on risk mitigation
• Assess network change requests to ensure alignment with security standards
• Ensure proper network segmentation is implemented and maintained
• Perform periodic security reviews of network configurations
• Participate in daily IT security operations (incidents, requests, etc.)
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security measures into system design and implementation
• Monitor IT systems for security threats and vulnerabilities
• Support compliance with new regulations like DORA, including gap analysis and action plans
• Participate in internal and external audits
• Maintain good relations with local and global teams

The team:

A dynamic group of about a dozen Security and IAM officers working in French and English, closely collaborating with other tech teams, risk management, and group entities.

The office is in a modern building near Luxembourg's central train station, with an enterprise restaurant for convenience.
