As a Video Editor & Motion Designer, you will play a key role in editing, motion graphics, and post-production workflows at Canyon Studios. Working closely with videographers, editors, and producers, you will focus on polishing edits, creating motion design elements, and improving efficiency in video post-production. Your expertise will enhance the quality and consistency of Canyon’s video content across various platforms.

YOUR JOB AS PART OF THE CANYON CREW

  • Editing & Motion Graphics: Edit and refine video content for product launches, brand campaigns, and social media. Create titles, animations, and motion graphics to enhance storytelling and engagement.
  • Workflow Optimisation: Support the streamlining of editing processes, improving templates, asset management, and best practices for efficiency.
  • Quality Control: Ensure consistency in colour grading, audio, and overall visual quality, assisting in final reviews before delivery.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with videographers and producers to align on creative direction and ensure seamless post-production.
  • File & Asset Organisation: Maintain well-structured project files, templates, and an organised editing archive for future use.
  • Industry Trends & Learning: Stay up to date with new video techniques and motion graphics trends, implementing best practices into daily work.

How To Become Part Of The Race

  • Educational Background or Equivalent Experience: Degree in Film, Media Production, Motion Design, or related field; at least 3+ years of experience in video editing and motion graphics.
  • Software Proficiency: Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and basic knowledge of Davinci Resolve. Experience with Cinema 4D or Blender is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Solid understanding of editing, motion graphics, basic colour grading, and sound design.
  • Detail-Oriented: Ability to maintain high production standards and ensure consistency across edits.
  • Organisational Skills: Experience in structuring project files and improving workflow efficiency.
  • Team Player: A collaborative approach, working closely with editors and videographers to achieve the best results.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working on a mix of fast-paced social content and longer-form projects.
