Since 2024, we are embarking on an exciting 5-year plan that will better serve our customers and increase our presence by 30x. Amazon Pay is seeking an experienced Enterprise Sales Executive responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase penetration among a defined portfolio of strategic merchants. This role requires managing complex, long deal cycles to achieve sales targets. As a senior member of the sales team, this individual will influence and drive priorities across cross-functional internal stakeholders, ensuring long-term business impact.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute sales strategy for emerging verticals through direct and channel-sales motions.
  2. Build strategic relationships with merchants up to C-suite level and with partners to accelerate impact.
  3. Gain deep understanding of vertical needs and pain points, influencing cross-functional teams to address key issues.
  4. Own forecasting and monitor pipeline performance, analyze trends, and optimize performance using Salesforce and other reporting systems.
  5. Communicate results with senior leadership regarding progress and roadblocks.
  6. Manage complex contract negotiations.
  7. German language proficiency at business fluency level is required.

Grundqualifikationen

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing opportunities across various customer engagement levels.
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • Experience in B2B or enterprise sales, especially in hunting new business.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

  • Experience selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers.
  • Background in sales or marketing related to e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS, or similar fields.
