Software Developer / Software Engineer - Embedded Systems & Data Analysis / Python, SQL (m/f/d)

Location Ettlingen near Karlsruhe

Your tasks

• You will develop embedded software and implement firmware customizations with C/C++ for microcontrollers of our products.
• You will also create designs based on software requirements and in accordance with our development processes.
• You will independently carry out software tests and verify your implementations in the e-lab using system tests.
• You will work closely with the hardware team to translate analysis results into specific firmware adaptations and new features.
• You create scripts (Python, SQL) and dashboards to analyze field tests and customer data - according to the requirements from development, support and management.
  
  

Your background

• Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, information technology or data science, alternatively a comparable qualification
• Embedded know-how, solid C/C++ skills, experience in debugging as well as in the design, implementation and testing of firmware for microcontrollers
• Ideally practice with Python (pandas, NumPy, Jupyter), data visualization (e.g. Plotly, Grafana) and SQL
• Ideally knowledge of IoT and cloud architectures (MQTT, REST, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
• Affinity for data analysis and a desire for teamwork
