Senior Financial Accountant

We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant (d/f/m) for our Berlin office, starting immediately, on a full-time basis (40 hours per week). As a member of our dynamic team, you will handle diverse financial accounting tasks in an international environment that offers exciting development opportunities and flat hierarchies.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements
• Direct communication with the tax office
• Participation in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Management of accounts payable and receivable, including invoice and payment processing
• Financial analysis and reporting directly to senior management
• Supporting the Finance Manager with various ad-hoc projects

Requirements:

• Ideally, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting or an equivalent qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or a similar field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting & analysis
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software such as Candis or DATEV
• Fluent in German and business-proficient in English
• Any additional European language is a plus (especially Polish and Romanian)
