BIM Technician [ROI]

Wills Bros are seeking an experienced BIM Technician to join our team in Dublin for a major infrastructure project. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering processes and a high level of proficiency in document management softwareandtools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and manage accurate 3D models and 2D drawings using Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, and other BIM software.
• Support the design, planning, and coordination of infrastructure projects including roads, utilities, and drainage systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and site teams to ensure BIM models reflect real-world conditions and construction methods.
• Participate in clash detection, model coordination, and data management.
• Maintain BIM standards and ensure adherence to industry best practices and company protocols.
• Assist in the development of digital workflows and templates to enhance project efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar BIM or CAD Technician role, preferably within civil engineering.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and technical drawings.
• Basic understanding of BIM processes and standards (ISO 19650).
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with diverse project teams.
