Job Description

We are seeking a (Senior) Product Manager to join our dynamic pricing team within Logistics, focusing on our journey to deliver exceptional experiences. Are you passionate about leveraging data science to optimize pricing strategies that drive significant growth? You will play a crucial role in shaping how we set prices for millions of customers.

Imagine the impact of optimizing delivery fees across our vast network, influencing decisions that directly impact our growth and profitability. This is your chance to lead the development of intelligent pricing mechanisms that support our diverse brands, including Talabat, foodpanda, PedidosYa, Glovo, HungerStation, and the wider Delivery Hero group.

You will own and drive the product strategy for our dynamic pricing capabilities, ensuring our platforms utilize cutting-edge solutions to optimize delivery fees and other pricing mechanisms.

Within our Dynamic Pricing domain, you'll address complex challenges that influence our sustainable and efficient growth. Your work will empower global pricing managers through smart automations, models, and our pricing experimentation platform for testing and analysis. Each contribution will elevate our pricing capabilities.

Your Mission:

  1. Lead the product: Enhance our dynamic pricing service, impacting how delivery fees are calculated for millions of daily deliveries.
  2. Drive innovation and automation: Champion the product vision from discovery to implementation, focusing on data-driven decisions and impactful results. Use advanced experimentation techniques like multi-armed bandits to optimize pricing configurations across complex, multidimensional solutions.
  3. Leverage data: Analyze data to identify opportunities, collaborate on hypothesis validation through experimentation (including A/B testing), and continuously improve pricing strategies.
  4. Define and achieve goals: Develop and maintain a clear product roadmap, prioritize initiatives based on business value, user needs, and technological progress. Manage quarterly and long-term OKRs.
  5. Collaborate effectively: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, engineers, and users to translate requirements into impactful features. Align with stakeholders across global brands.
  6. Communicate your vision: Share product strategy, progress, and learnings with stakeholders at various levels.
  7. Become the subject matter expert: Lead best practices and foster continuous improvement in dynamic pricing.
  8. Grow with your team: Contribute to a collaborative, growth-oriented environment with a data-informed, user-centric approach.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of delivering data-driven products and tangible results.
  • Proficiency in designing and analyzing A/B tests and experimentation.
  • Experience collaborating with Data Scientists, familiar with algorithmic solutions and data science models.
  • Strong ability to launch and improve products based on data insights and experimentation.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English.
  • Effective collaboration with stakeholders and development teams to define and deliver MVPs.
  • Experience writing clear product requirements and managing development processes.

Nice to have

  • Experience with pricing and demand steering challenges.
  • Exposure to last-mile delivery industry.
  • Experience building and managing internal tools.
  • Knowledge of formulating and tracking OKRs.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
