You are acting as a Landing Gear System Engineer (m / f / d) for our client Airbus Defence and Space in Manching.

Your responsibilities :

• Supporting the generation and maturation of Weapon System, Landing Gear System and Equipment-level technical, performance and Certification requirements
• Supporting the end-to-end development of Landing Gear equipment and assemblies
• Support to Landing Gear equipment and assembly integration activities
• Support to planning system / equipment-level Qualification activities and monitoring equipment / assembly-level physical test, modelling & simulation activities
• Supplier management, including oversight of Equipment Supplier performance and technical compliance

Your profile :

• Completed studies in aerospace, mechanical engineering or comparable
• Professional experience in aerospace and IT / information systems
• Experience in Landing Gear System Development
• Confident handling of MS-Office
• Experience with Catia V.0, Matlab, Simulink, IBM DOORS and Confluence / Jira
• German is a plus
• Willingness to travel within Europe – mainly into France for business purposes about once / month on average
