Are you a creative, hands-on marketer with a sharp eye for brand communication and a passion for digital and social media? A rapidly growing international retail company is seeking a Marketing Specialist to lead local execution of its brand and promotional strategy in Germany . This is an opportunity to make a tangible impact on how a leading brand is experienced by millions of customers across channels.

Your Mission

As Marketing Specialist, you’ll coordinate brand communication across digital, PR, social media, and in-store channels. You’ll ensure the local implementation of the promotional calendar, manage local media and creative agencies, and drive campaigns that resonate with the German customer. Clear and engaging written communication will be a key part of your success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adapt and execute the promotional calendar and campaigns to the German market.
  • Own digital communication channels (website, social media, newsletters), ensuring consistency and engagement.
  • Develop and manage local PR strategies, press releases, and media outreach.
  • Lead collaboration with local creative and media agencies.
  • Ensure the brand voice is consistent and compelling across all customer touchpoints.
  • Evaluate the performance of promotional and digital campaigns using KPIs.
  • Coordinate communication for store openings, POSM, and local events.
  • Support CSR and internal communication projects.
  • Manage the local marketing budget and report on spend and ROI.
  • Partner with HR on employer branding initiatives as needed.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing, with strong focus on digital, PR, and social media .
  • Native-level German is mandatory , with fluent English (minimum C1).
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills in German – creative, clear, and customer-focused.
  • Experience in campaign execution, media buying, and agency management.
  • Ability to balance creativity with structured planning and analytical thinking.
  • Knowledge of retail or consumer industries is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with social media management tools.
