The Software-defined Vehicle Team is seeking a Principal Software Architect for the next-generation software platform.

What awaits you?

1. Lead a team of engineers, providing direction in architecture concepts, deriving requirements, and reviewing solutions and implementations.
2. Define the new software platform for advanced driving assistance, driving dynamics, and body functions, leveraging your deep subject matter expertise.
3. Collaborate with development teams to ensure the platform meets standards for functional safety, security, and performance. Evaluate open-source contributions for suitability and compatibility.
4. Oversee development processes, driving innovation and efficiency through your expertise.
5. Define acceptance criteria for software and vehicle integration solutions and evaluate compliance. Represent technical aspects to managers and committees, providing insights and recommendations.

What should you bring along?

1. University degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable qualification.
2. At least 8 years of experience in embedded ECUs system architecture with automotive controllers and ARM-based SoC architectures.
3. Experience in safety or cybersecurity systems according to ISO26262 or ISO/SAE21434.
4. Expertise in embedded software development, hardware, and software architecture.
5. Business-fluent German and English.
