We are seeking
A Corporate Process Engineer to act within Global Engineering. Your role will be to represent Global Engineering in strategic projects, collaborate with local project Lead Engineers to set design strategies and deliverables, and ensure standardization and feasibility using best practices in design. Part of your role will involve establishing standardization in technical design solutions.
You will collaborate with various corporate functions, local engineering departments, project teams, and external process suppliers to ensure alignment with company requirements for capacity, efficiency, and operational excellence.
The position can be based in Vienna (Austria), Stockholm (Sweden), Lingolsheim (France), or Springe (Germany).
Your main responsibilities and opportunities
- Representing Global Engineering in leading local investment project design teams.
- Collaborating with local project Lead Engineers to ensure engineering and process design deliverables.
- Establishing and reviewing design requirements.
- Planning and developing process units and systems, including layouts and functional flows.
- Establishing and reviewing project descriptions and process flow diagrams.
- Coordinating design engineers of process equipment.
- Implementing Octapharma engineering concepts and standards into projects.
- Reviewing calculations, designs, and specifications of equipment and systems.
- Comparing technical and commercial solutions.
- Ensuring solutions meet cGMP standards and proper documentation.
- Managing corporate PID lead sheetings and naming conventions.
- Defining strategic development of design solutions and standards in collaboration with corporate and local teams.
- Supporting the transfer and further development of standards at local sites.
- Acting as an internal consultant/expert within your area of expertise.
Your Profile
- University degree in a technical field (e.g., Chemical or Process Engineering or similar).
- 5 to 10 years of documented experience in process design and basic engineering within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Deep knowledge of wet bulk production, preferably from plasma industry.
- Experience in calculations and dimensioning of fluid systems.
- Skills in developing Process Flow Diagrams in AutoCAD and layout planning in 2D/3D.
- Understanding of Engineering Development Models and related design documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of core plant systems and pharmaceutical unit operations such as Chromatography, Ultrafiltration, Nanofiltration, and filtration technologies.

The minimum gross wage according to the collective agreement (chemical industry) for this role is EUR 3,909.67. We aim to offer a salary that reflects your tasks and profile, potentially exceeding the collective agreement, especially in Austria where this is a legal requirement.
