Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled specialist who contributes to the development of new concepts and techniques, working on complex assignments requiring independent action. The focus is on complex tasks requiring highly skilled and independent judgment, while also supporting the overall team.
Responsibilities
Facility / Infrastructure Maintenance
- Perform highly skilled preventative and corrective maintenance on-site for critical facility systems.
- Execute complex repairs, corrective maintenance, and installations.
- Resolve advanced incidents and develop new procedures to support the team.
- Monitor the Building Monitoring System (BMS) and resolve alarms independently, making recommendations for new procedures.
- Lead and coordinate critical infrastructure operations.
- Implement energy efficiency measures and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Inspect plumbing, fire suppression, and life-safety systems for proper operation and maintenance.
- Work on complex assignments requiring independent action and initiative, making procedural recommendations.
- Develop project scopes with management for lifecycle and end-of-life infrastructure projects.
- Facilitate vendor selection for outsourced maintenance and oversee their tasks to ensure standards are met.
- Create maintenance scripts, track, and approve work performed by service providers.
- Inspect updates to technical documentation for plants and equipment, ensuring accuracy and currency.
- Maintain comprehensive site logs and data for permits like MOPs and scripts.
- Identify and escalate process discrepancies, and recommend solutions for Single Points of Failure (SPOFs).
- Support team adherence to operating processes and procedures, especially during critical incidents.
- Respond to incidents, including major failures, and assist with Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Assist management in maintaining technical documentation.
Work Orders & Additional Projects
- Complete highly skilled work requests and circuit installations.
- Troubleshoot and maintain office equipment and auxiliary systems to minimize downtime.
- Make moderate modifications to mechanical, electrical, and specialized systems as directed.
- Lead infrastructure project activities and resolve complex facility incidents.
- Identify component faults and recommend new procedures.
- Coordinate inventory needs and act as an escalation point for inventory-related processes.
- Advise team members on repairs and preventative maintenance, and support complex project implementations.
Qualifications
Typical Degree & Years of Experience
- A high school diploma is typically required, along with 6+ years of relevant work experience.
