Our Business Area (BA) Markets is looking for the right person to fill the position for our offices in Hamburg or Stockholm.

Your key responsibilities:

  1. Partner with cross-functional business stakeholders and developers to design and implement new use cases from data source to report layer.
  2. Develop in our Azure-based data warehouse using technologies like Snowflake, Matillion, Python libraries, and infrastructure tools such as Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes, as well as streaming tools like Kafka.
  3. Ensure continuous operations and improvements of the data warehouse, including smooth daily processes and accessible data for all users.
  4. Enjoy a high degree of self-responsibility and the opportunity to expand your expertise into areas of interest, building business know-how while growing technically.

Your profile

  • Proactive, self-driven team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Broad interest in working across all data warehouse domains, responsibility for 3rd party systems, coordination with internal IT, infrastructure, logging, monitoring, and BI tools. Interested in building business domain knowledge.
  • Hands-on experience in data modeling and SQL development in cloud data warehouses, familiarity with cloud infrastructure components and data orchestration tools like Matillion or Airflow.
  • University degree in Business and Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

As a merit, you also have:

  • Knowledge of Energy Trading Risk Management (ETRM) processes or experience with systems used for energy derivative trading, e.g., Endur, Market Risk, Credit Risk, or financial reporting.
  • Experience establishing logging, monitoring, and cloud security concepts, as well as maintaining cloud infrastructure components.
