IT-Business/Data Analyst (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement both proactive and reactive improvement opportunities across core banking and reporting processes, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Analyze business processes, propose optimizations, and enhance efficiency and user experience.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and work closely with development teams to ensure solutions meet needs.
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and business units, ensuring clear communication and timely project delivery.
• Oversee the implementation and testing of new functionalities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Perform system testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure seamless deployment.
• Provide training and post-implementation support to end-users and conduct follow-up reviews to assess project success.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in all implemented solutions.

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in business/data analysis in the banking sector (specifically in core banking functions).
• Strong understanding of core banking technologies and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in:
  • Financial regulations (e.g., IFRS, HGB, GoBD) and reporting standards.
  • European payment systems, including SEPA, SWIFT, T2, and PSD2.
  • SQL and data analytics tools.
• Experience translating business needs into technical specifications.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills in English verbal and written; German is a plus.
