We are currently looking for a highly motivated Senior Payroll Specialist (M / F / D) to join our Payroll team in Meiningen, Berlin, Munich or remote. If you want to be part of our growing company driven by innovation and focused on building a future together with our employees, consider applying.

Principle duties and essential functions

  1. Correct and timely processing of payroll accounting for our employees
  2. Compliance with legal requirements (tax, health and social security law), internal group regulations, and company guidelines (company agreements, SOX, etc.) as well as quality standards

Advice on special topics

  1. Active cooperation at interfaces in the company-wide operational areas as well as in the assumption of the resulting administrative tasks (including risk assessment, recommendation for further decisions, and initiation and implementation of appropriate measures)
  2. Coordinating and supporting requests from internal and external auditors in connection with payroll accounting
  3. Coordinating and monitoring payroll-related journal entries and supporting the reconciliation of payroll-related financial accounts

Other tasks and responsibilities

  1. Independent performance of internal audits and company audits by external bodies such as tax authorities, employers' liability insurance associations, social security institutions, or auditors
  2. Support various projects (e.g., implementation of legal changes, compensation models, improvements)

Knowledge, skills, and experience required and preferred

  1. Completed commercial apprenticeship or further training in payroll accounting
  2. Several years of professional experience in a comparable function, preferably in an international corporate environment
  3. Experience with DATEV, ADP, or other payroll platforms
  4. Ability to communicate complex payroll topics to specific target groups
  5. Thorough, goal-oriented, and independent working style
  6. Confident handling of MS Office and other IT applications
  7. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German
  8. Ability to work in an international, multicultural environment
  9. Strong team-oriented and friendly work culture
  10. Flexible working hours and the possibility of remote work
