  • Develop an understanding of the insurance API market and strategically position Xempus products
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers, brokers, third-party vendors, and internal teams to gather product requirements
  • Work with engineering and business teams to create scalable, secure, and developer-friendly APIs for seamless integration
  • Contribute to the overall product strategy as an active member of the Product team

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years focused on API products
  • Strong understanding of API design principles; experience with Postman, Swagger, and OpenAPI
  • Knowledge of insurance processes such as policy issuance, underwriting, and premium calculations (highly preferred)
  • Familiarity with insurance industry standards like BiPRO (an advantage)
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks like GDPR is a plus
  • Proven track record of delivering value to customers
  • Creative problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German

Why Xempus

  • Enjoy creative freedom and quick decision-making in a dynamic, innovative environment
  • Participate in a generous employee stock option program
  • Benefit from an attractive company pension scheme
  • Access corporate health insurance with €600 reimbursement annually
  • Work with a great team, with company events and charity initiatives
  • Benefit from hybrid working options for flexibility and family friendliness
  • Engage in personal and professional development with training budgets, courses, and career growth opportunities
  • Access health offerings like bike leasing and EGYMWellpass
  • Work in modern, centrally located offices with free drinks and fruit
  • Option for additional unpaid holidays beyond the standard 30 days
