Job Description:

As a Strategic Sourcing Capital Buyer at Mars, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of capital investment projects within your geographical scope, aligning with company strategies and processes. Your role involves partnering with stakeholders to deliver value and ensure timely achievement of business objectives.

This includes understanding market and regional drivers, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, forecasting, and identifying opportunities for cost savings, improved cash flow, quality, and service enhancements.

What are we looking for?

• University degree, preferably in Engineering, Business, or related field.
• At least 3 years of sourcing and/or engineering experience.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel to suppliers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Dutch and German are advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify sourcing needs for upcoming capital projects.
• Execute contracting and procurement activities following global and regional sourcing strategies.
• Deliver value through savings, innovation, sustainability, and process improvements, reporting opportunities via Sievo.
• Work with other Capital Buyers to identify synergies and sourcing improvements.
