The mission

OneLife is a Luxembourg-based life insurance company specialized in cross-border financial planning solutions for wealthy clients across Europe and beyond. To support our growth, we are looking for a dedicated Investment Solutions Officer to join our passionate Investment team.

The role of the Investment Solutions Officer is to support the Investment Solutions Department in assisting the trading team with daily operations.

You will be responsible for processing daily orders on financial products, including settlement, investment compliance, and reconciliation. This requires a good understanding of the trading process and knowledge of financial products such as investment funds, fixed income, equities, as well as the alternative funds sector and unquoted assets.

Main objectives of the role

  • Prepare and process buy/sell orders on financial markets, fund subscriptions/redemptions, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with counterparties (custodian banks, transfer agents, asset managers) to ensure proper securities clearing and settlement.
  • Manage daily reconciliation and confirmation processes of financial transactions.
  • Ensure procedures and legal frameworks are respected when processing transactions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients (brokers, asset managers) and collaborate with other departments (Sales, Customer Service).
  • Keep internal documentation up to date on the internal server.
  • Support reporting requirements and participate in improving the trading platform.
  • Promote new ideas and services by applying industry knowledge to create client value.
  • Identify opportunities to add value to clients and stay updated on regulatory changes.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and events, supporting the department's promotion.

Profile of our future teammate

  • Master's Degree in Economics or Finance.
  • Strong knowledge of investment vehicles (funds, structured products, ETFs, Private Equity, stocks) and the fund industry.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Back Office functions (trading, transfer agency, reconciliation).
  • Knowledge of trading processes or banking background is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent self-organization, time management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to work well in a team.
  • Previous experience in banking, fund management, or insurance sectors is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Bloomberg is a plus.
  • Fluent in French and English; additional languages are an asset.
