We are looking for a team member with analytical skill sets and manufacturing/supply chain experience to lead the Demand Planning process for the EUROPE region and the Endoscopes Supply Planning in Europe. This member will engage with both direct and indirect country commercial leaders to understand the macro/business conditions and drive the development of the Demand Plan for all products in the Europe region. This member will also engage with the factory leadership in three different areas in Europe to help formulate a sound Supply Planning solution for the Endoscopes/Accessories product segment. The SIOP planning function is an excellent way to broaden the experience, skills, and network of colleagues while leveraging knowledge on large data sets to compute demand and supply plans to meet customer demand and maintain inventory targets.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead best-in-class demand planning process across multiple countries in Europe by facilitating and driving collaborations with Marketing, Sales Operations, Finance, and SIOP US team to develop a 6-quarter SIOP plan for Europe.
  • Use and analyze historical shipments, procedure data, product segmentation, and risk analysis to derive the demand plan. This includes understanding regional drivers such as training programs, promotions, special incentives, etc.
  • Work with Product Marketing, US SIOP, and distribution planning teams to manage safety stock/inventory targets; closely partner with the Commercial teams to understand platform/product launch strategies in Europe and incorporate adequate stocking inventory plans into the planning process.
  • Enable the supply planning for endoscopes through understanding of headcount/capacity models and cross-functional partnership (Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain) to enable build plan scenarios for the various endoscopes in the EU region.
  • Represent as the first point of contact for the various Endoscopes/Buy part accessories manufactured in Europe.
  • Represent their product families and present relevant data/charts in the cross-functional SIOP meetings.
  • This role will require partnering and communicating with the US teams during the SIOP process.
  • Travel: 0-25% International in Europe and quarterly to the US.

Qualifications:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proficiency (C1) in English and German.
  • Experience in working with multiple countries and pulling data from different sources into a summary level.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to digest large amounts of data and present it in summary format.
  • Familiarity/experience with Advanced Planning applications (o9, etc.) and/or SAP ERP applications.
  • Hands-on experience required with demand/supply planning modules.
  • Experience leading SIOP meetings.
  • Awareness/Understanding of capacity models (lines/shifts, line efficiencies, headcount, and material lead times/constraints).
  • Intermediate level in MS Office applications (Excel and PowerPoint).
