Job Description: Software Testing Specialist

We are seeking a Software Testing Specialist responsible for:

1. Testing and documentation of software, including selection of appropriate testing methods
2. Design and implementation of automated software tests, and creation of test specifications and instructions
3. Analysis and reporting of test results
4. Monitoring test progress
5. Supporting proposal preparation regarding necessary software tests
6. Collaborating with software developers to implement quality assurance measures
7. Creating process documentation (e.g., test concepts)
8. Ensuring adequate test coverage
9. Initial analysis of customer error reports
10. Reviewing and optimizing test metrics based on product requirements
11. Providing technical leadership and coordination of software testers

Qualifications include:

1. Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
2. Several years of professional experience in software testing
3. Additional qualifications or proven advanced training in software testing
4. Good programming skills in an object-oriented programming language
5. Excellent English skills, both spoken and written, especially technical English
6. Willingness to travel
