Innovation Project Manager (f/m/d) Interventional Imaging/Processing
Support international innovation projects and develop algorithms and applications. Within this position, you may work remotely (within Germany) up to 60% of your working hours, in consultation with your manager.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Lead innovation projects collaborating with clinicians, scientists, and industrial partners globally.
- Design and implement innovative approaches to improve angiographic image quality in 2D and 3D, focusing on interventional neuroradiology.
- Support prototype development for applications, some operating in real-time and robotically supported, integrating third-party solutions as needed.
- Contribute to the development of multimodal solutions to analyze and optimize clinical workflows.
- Conduct competitive analyses, contribute to strategy development, and manage new technologies.
- Publish scientific papers with cooperation partners and develop the IP portfolio.
- Present innovation topics to customers regularly.
Qualifications and experience:
- PhD in engineering, computer science, physics, or mathematics, preferably with a focus on medical image processing or medical technology.
- Extensive professional experience in the medical-scientific field.
- Several years managing innovation projects with international cooperation and industry partners.
- Experience in software development in complex environments, knowledge of medical devices.
- Deep knowledge of machine learning and AI.
- Proficiency in C, C++, and Python programming.
Attributes and skills:
- Excellent command of English; German is an advantage.
- Creative with a drive to develop innovative solutions in image-guided therapies.
- Strong organizational, presentation, initiative, and customer-oriented skills.
