As a member of the legal team of the group’s holding company, you will be involved in activities conducted across several countries. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Identifying, preventing, and mitigating legal risks affecting the Encevo Group companies.
  2. Advising and assisting group companies on legal aspects of their activities in various areas such as business law, energy law, and mergers & acquisitions.
  3. Drafting and reviewing contracts, and participating in negotiations with business units.
  4. Conducting legal risk analyses and providing legal opinions and recommendations to business units and management.
  5. Collaborating on establishing structures and overseeing legal aspects of operational integration of subsidiaries, especially in mergers and acquisitions.
  6. Managing litigation with support from external counsels when necessary.
  7. Participating in legal monitoring, training, and contributing to knowledge management within the legal department, implementing developments within the Group’s entities.
  8. Participating in the drafting and implementation of internal procedures.

Your profile

  1. Holding a Master’s degree or equivalent in Law (focusing on commercial, corporate, or business law) from Luxembourg, France, Belgium, or Germany.
  2. Having at least 10 years of experience in a law firm or a large company.
  3. Possessing sound knowledge of business law (commercial, corporate, insolvency), with good knowledge of competition law, new technology law, or public procurement law considered an asset. Knowledge of Luxembourgish law or energy law is a plus but not mandatory.
  4. Demonstrating strong analytical and synthesis skills, with the ability to manage projects and priorities effectively.
  5. Being proactive, dynamic, results-oriented, and a good team player.
  6. Having highly effective verbal and written communication skills in French and English. Knowledge of German or Dutch is advantageous.
