The Applications and Systems department oversees product responsibility for editorial and production systems used in television, radio, and internet. Responsibilities include providing, operating, and implementing new workflows, offering specialist support, and sharing expertise.

To strengthen our dedicated and motivated team in the Radio Systems group, we are seeking a Systems Engineer as soon as possible.

  • Ensure trouble-free operation and technical quality of IT-based production systems within the radio broadcasting network infrastructure.
  • Develop and enhance systems by configuring or commissioning manufacturer components and managing client and server administration.
  • Handle second-level troubleshooting and escalate complex errors to manufacturers.
  • Develop and implement emergency and safety protocols, plan, and execute maintenance independently.
  • Advise on projects and maintain documentation for system changes.

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU

  • A degree in media technology, media informatics, or a comparable qualification.
  • Extensive experience in support, maintenance, and development of IT and production applications, preferably in networked, cross-media production infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of modern IT-based media production technology.
  • Strong teamwork, cooperation skills, decision-making ability under time pressure.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tasks.
