You will play a key role in enhancing our in-house developed framework, making complex simulation and prediction methods accessible through a standardized, user-friendly web application.

Your main challenge will be bridging the gap between Engineering and IT by evolving our microservice-based backend and integrating it with existing scientific workflows. You will collaborate with a global team to create innovative solutions.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and implement concepts for our Java Spring web applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and engineers to create seamless solutions.
• Develop test code and scenarios to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Debug and resolve technical issues to maintain smooth operations.
• Follow Scrum/Agile methodologies for effective project management.
• Optimize backend systems for performance and scalability.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Advanced Java web application development skills.
• Proficiency with IntelliJ, Git/GitHub, Jenkins.
• Experience with the Spring Framework.
• Familiarity with Apache Camel is a plus.
• Experience with Python and/or MATLAB is a plus.
• Experience with microservice architecture is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with team members and engineers.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Passion for innovation and proactive problem-solving.
