Job Description:

Fruchthansa UK Ltd., based in the United Kingdom, is the newly founded subsidiary of the Fruchthansa Group, headquartered in Germany.

We are currently looking for a local Office & Supply Chain Manager to build up and develop our base in the UK.

For more than 50 years, Fruchthansa has stood for excellence in the global fresh produce supply chain. With roots in Germany, we've established ourselves as a reliable partner worldwide. In early 2025, we expanded by founding Fruchthansa UK to strengthen our presence in the British market.

Rooted in tradition and focused on the future, at Fruchthansa we embrace contradictions: humanity and precision, innovation and consistency, flexibility and perfection. This mindset drives us to innovate daily and realize our visions responsibly and purposefully.

With around 200 employees across Germany, Spain, the UK, and beyond, we ensure the reliable supply of fresh fruit and vegetables. With Fruchthansa UK, we bring our expertise closer to British customers and suppliers. We go the extra mile, work on solutions until they are achieved, and support our partners until it's done!

We are more than a service provider; we are a responsible and reliable employer.

During this growth phase, we seek individuals who share our values and wish to grow professionally and personally.

  • You will work as a local employee for Fruchthansa UK Ltd.
  • You are the first point of contact for our UK-based stakeholders.
  • You support the setup and development of Fruchthansa UK, collaborating closely with our team in Germany.
  • You build and maintain relationships with local partners to ensure clear communication and strong collaborations.
  • You develop long-term partnerships with service providers to ensure smooth operations.
  • You manage and develop customer relationships (CRM) locally.
  • You ensure operational flow across the supply chain with a hands-on approach.
  • You help guarantee product quality and freshness through a holistic supply chain perspective.
  • You coordinate international logistics with our scheduling and purchasing teams in Germany.
  • You advise and support customers on volume planning and operational questions.
  • You represent Fruchthansa at trade shows and meetings with logistics partners.
  • You reside in the United Kingdom.
  • You have a background in business, logistics, or related training (e.g., apprenticeship or studies in procurement, business administration, or similar).
  • You have experience in supply chain management and/or sales, preferably within the trade or food industry (e.g., as a buyer or sales representative).
  • You possess strong organizational skills and a solution-driven mindset.
  • You are fluent and proficient in English; German skills are a plus.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You demonstrate a proactive, independent work style and motivation to take ownership.
  • You are confident in handling MS Office tools.
  • You have enthusiasm for the vibrant world of fruit & vegetables.

Benefits:

  • Work in a future-proof, family-run company with a meaningful purpose—promoting healthy nutrition, sustainable supply chains, and digital technologies.
  • Modern work environment with high-quality office and home office equipment, offering flexibility.
  • Attractive salary, 28 days of vacation, company pension plan, and plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables.
  • Support for professional development, language courses, and personal growth.
  • International team, flat hierarchies, and a culture of equality and diversity.
