Senior SAP Basis Engineer

• Ensuring the smooth operation and support of the SAP Basis
• Processing incidents and changes
• Carrying out error analyses and troubleshooting
• Support and further development of the SAP Basis system landscape ECC6 (Cloud and OnPremise)
• Support in planning and implementing the transformation of the SAP landscape to the cloud (SAP 4 / HANA)

What sets you apart

• Completed technical training with in-depth knowledge in the fields of computer science, mathematics, communications engineering or completed studies in the scientific-technical field (e.g. computer science, mathematics, communications engineering) with several years of professional experience in each case
• In-depth knowledge of the SAP NetWeaver application server and the technologies based on it
• Experience in 1st / 2nd level support and incident management
• Confident handling of the SAP ECS Workspace and the processes mapped therein to ensure SAP Cloud operation
• Sound knowledge in the administration of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and practical experience in the use of certificates
• Proficient knowledge of common Internet protocols, including OData, SAML, HTTP, HTTPS and REST, which are relevant to SAP
• Business fluent in written and spoken English
