We are looking for a PAS Lead Engineer to join our team!

In this position, you will fully support the overall business growth objectives by using your skills and experience to support the sales and proposals team in pursuing new business opportunities.

As a member of the Project Management team on a project, you will be responsible for owning the delivery of a portfolio of projects, utilizing Emerson Process Management's global resources and standards, and coordinating the project team in detail.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Supporting the relevant Project Lead or Project Manager in understanding, managing, and fulfilling customer expectations, including coordination with product vendors, sub-contractors, other Emerson teams, and third parties involved in the work.
  • Owning the engineering activities for all assigned tasks and proactively applying methodologies, resources, and techniques to minimize execution costs while maintaining schedule and quality standards.
  • Assisting in developing a realistic and achievable project schedule and providing all necessary information regarding resource requirements, progress, and potential risks.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for all technical communication with the customer for assigned work, ensuring all team members, including third parties, are informed with relevant information.
  • Supporting procurement activities, including detailed specifications for sub-contracted work and services, along with delivery dates.
  • Understanding the scope of work for all engineering tasks, ensuring delivery to quality, budget, and schedule, and informing the Project Lead or Manager of any scope changes initiated by the customer.
  • Verifying that all engineering activities comply with the company’s quality control processes and standards, including HSEQ standards.
  • Fostering an inclusive and encouraging environment within the project team and supporting team members' personal development objectives.
  • Contributing to bid activities to ensure customer requirements are understood and proposing innovative, cost-effective solutions.
  • Sharing knowledge and experience with the engineering team and the wider organization.

Who You Are:

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • State-certified technician training, e.g., electronics technician for automation technology or equivalent.
  • At least years of relevant experience with a proven record in system design, implementation, and factory/site acceptance testing phases.
  • The ability to work independently within defined timelines.
  • Extensive experience with direct customer contact and expectation management.
  • A valid driving license for cars.
  • Proficiency in the local language and English (verbal and written).
  • Willingness to travel as needed.

  • Experience working with DeltaV.
