Company Description
Our Production Department is responsible for the supply chain behind the online used-car-buying experience for private customers - from vehicle repair to delivery via our glass trucks or transport to the pick-up branch. We are fast, data-driven, and efficient. Our goal is to redefine the used car market for private customers with a first-class production process. Support us as Business Development Manager Production by questioning the status quo and demonstrating your negotiating skills and competence.

Based in Berlin, you will work closely with on-site departments at our production facilities in Germany to elevate our used-car refurbishment process.

Job Description

1. Build and expand the supplier network for production processes.
2. Establish and refine procurement budgeting and cross-border benchmarking processes.
3. Contribute to the development and improvement of purchasing strategies and seek innovative solutions.
4. Monitor market trends and relationships to identify savings and optimization opportunities.
5. Manage enquiries, tenders, negotiations, and contracts.
6. Collaborate across departments to develop and implement procurement solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven procurement experience in a startup, management consultancy, fast-growing company, or automotive sector.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of modern procurement methodologies and supply chain processes.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret data.
• Pragmatic, solution-oriented, highly organized, and able to work independently or in teams.
• Fluent in English; German skills are a plus.
