As a Senior Accountant Teamlead (m/f/d) at Sentronics Metrology in Mannheim, you will take on a key role in managing and leading financial activities and systems. You will work closely with the Accounting & Finance departments as well as the HQ Finance Managers. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of our financial standards and play a crucial role in the success of our company.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead the transition of financial reporting from HGB to US GAAP, improving the company's financial reporting structure.
• Establish and manage cost centers to enhance financial oversight and accountability, ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Lead all professional accounting aspects, including hands-on execution, and work closely with a team of three accountants to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Collaborate with the CEO and other senior executives during the merger process to integrate financial systems and practices.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or Taxation.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting or controlling, with in-depth knowledge of both HGB and US GAAP.
• Proven experience in leading a team of accountants.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
