What you bring

• Proven experience of 5+ years as a Data Engineer or similar role working on relevant production/live projects.
• Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and ETL tools.
• Proficient in programming languages such as R, Java, Scala, or Python.
• Experience with big data tools Hadoop, Spark) and data pipeline and workflow management tools Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow).
• Proficient in integrating and consolidating disparate data streams into a cohesive and reliable data resource using tools such as Informatica, Talend, or Apache NiFi.
• Skilled in cloud services AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), with solid understanding distributed computing principles and commonly used cloud tools.
• Proficient in building and optimizing 'big data' pipelines, architectures, and data sets.
• Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
• Independent work ethic with a proven track record of initiative and successful project completion.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Leadership experience or potential with the ability to guide and inspire team members.
