On behalf of our client, Airbus Operations GmbH, we are looking for a Supply Chain Manager for Aerospace Transport Processes at the Hamburg-Finkenwerder site. In this role, you will be actively shaping complex transport structures, taking responsibility for international cargo flows, cross-site coordination, and the operational management of day-to-day logistics activities.Apply now and help shape Airbus' global transport logistics!

The gross annual salary ranges from €73,000 to a maximum of €75,900, depending on qualifications. Please note that we can only consider candidates with a valid, unrestricted work permit for the EU (no student visa).

Job description

Tasks

  • Definition and adaptation of transport processes incl. SLA creation (Service Level Agreement)
  • Development and maintenance of interfaces between internal units and suppliers
  • Adaptation and integration of transport IT applications for plants and suppliers
  • Analysis, optimization and rationalization of logistical flows of goods
  • Control of daily transport processes (inbound/outbound) as well as contact person for international transport flows (e.g. overseas and cross-location coordination).e.g. overseas) and cross-location coordination
  • Preparation of transport specifications according to customer requirements as well as controlling of service providers, processing of change requests and complaints
  • On-site assignments at Airbus locations (e.g. Hamburg, Stade, Nordenham, Bremen)
  • Partial responsibility for safety and external company coordination at several locations as well as investment planning

Requirements

  • Completed training as a certified technician, business specialist or university degree in logistics, supply chain, or business administration
  • Several years of professional experience in customer service, supplier management, supply chain, logistics, and transport operations
  • Confident use of Google Workspace
  • Fluent German and English skills (both at least C1 level)
  • Willingness to travel 2–3 times a month (national/international)
  • A valid, unrestricted work permit for the European Union (no student visa) is mandatory
  • CV in English required
