Digital Marketing Manager

Adyen is looking for a data-driven, proactive, and collaborative digital marketing manager. This role will work from our Berlin office and report directly to the Head of Marketing DACH.

The digital marketing role focuses on driving impact for Adyen’s acquisition efforts of new customers through digital marketing channels. You’ll be responsible for planning, setting up, and optimizing targeted digital marketing campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels.

You are our ideal candidate if you have experience with B2B digital marketing, are a strong communicator, and fluent in working with revenue-based goals. You have a hands-on mentality, with the ability to develop, implement, track, and optimize new marketing initiatives. This role involves collaboration across local and global marketing teams to maximize Adyen’s impact through digital channels.

What You’ll Do

  1. Develop and implement digital initiatives for all paid channels to maximize lead generation in the DACH market, and support the CEE region in exploring new opportunities.
  2. Work closely with local commercial and global acquisition teams to generate sales opportunities from digital channels.
  3. Use analytic tools to assess campaign effectiveness and optimize campaigns daily.
  4. Handle local media buying through direct deals and/or agencies.
  5. Manage digital agency relationships, including campaign briefings, media plans, communication, optimization, budget management, and evaluations.

Who You Are

  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing and customer acquisition; B2B tech experience is a plus.
  2. Strong background in SEA (e.g., Google, Bing) and other paid channels (e.g., Social). Knowledge of SEO and programmatic advertising (e.g., DV360) is a plus.
  3. A results-driven marketing professional with a proven ability to create, execute, and optimize successful campaigns, improving marketing ROI.
  4. High proficiency in German and English.
  5. Tool knowledge (e.g., Google Analytics, Salesforce, Marketo, Looker) is a plus.
  6. Ability to travel internationally 20%+.
