• You take an active role in shaping and maintaining Discover’s IT architecture and long-term technology strategy.
• You coordinate IT architecture and security topics within Discover and across the Lufthansa Group.
• You implement and document architectural standards, frameworks, and guidelines.
• You support the protection of Discover’s IT landscape by applying and verifying cybersecurity measures.
• You conduct security trainings, advise colleagues, and handle potential security incidents.
• You contribute to application development by driving requirements engineering and incorporating industry best practices and market trends.

Qualifications

• You hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business IT, or a similar field – or have equivalent practical experience in the IT domain.
• You have initial hands-on experience in IT (through early-career positions and so on).
• You are interested in airline IT systems & enjoy working in large-scale IT environments (Lufthansa Group experience is a plus).
• You bring a foundational knowledge or strong interest in IT architecture & cybersecurity (knowledge of ISO 27001 / BSI Grundschutz is a plus).
• You work in a structured and solution-oriented way, take ownership of your work, and are comfortable dealing with complex tasks.
• You are curious, eager to learn, and motivated to take on responsibilities beyond your core role when needed.
• You communicate confidently in English; German skills are a plus.
