Application Engineer (m/f/d)
Principle Job Responsibilities
- Support the sales department in preparing quotations by clarifying technical questions and project planning of drive components.
- Analyze and realize customer applications with the creation and commissioning of drive solutions.
- Maintain and develop drive-related software (CoDeSys).
- Provide technical customer support for key customers via phone (remote) and on-site.
- Assist the sales field service by creating argumentation aids and application consulting for customers.
- Support the engineering team in dimensioning hardware components.
- Create technical information, project planning instructions, and application documentation.
- Provide technical support to the service team and carry out service calls.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A degree in electrical engineering, preferably with a focus on drive and/or control technology.
- Knowledge in drive technology.
- Knowledge of automation and hardware engineering for control systems.
- Knowledge of ECAD, preferably EPLAN; functional safety is a plus.
- Native-level German language skills and good command of English.
