Trade Finance and Lending

Trade Finance and Lending (TF&L) is a core and leading business department in the Corporate Bank, working with clients worldwide. Trade finance involves techniques to mitigate and transfer trade risks to the financial sector and/or using bank funding to enable domestic and international trade flows. It supports the physical flow of goods across borders, primarily using goods, receivables, and cash generated from trade as security.

The group is working on a technology refresh of their IT platform to enable new services and products, improve business process automation, and reduce transaction costs.

Would you like to join a successful in-house technology team designing, building, and deploying its strategic platform for TF&L and maintaining the existing LS2 platform? The architecture supports a wide range of capabilities for the global TFL business, including loan lifecycle management, collateral management, and integrations with Cash, Treasury, Risk, and Finance systems.

As a Lead Engineer (f/m/x), you will contribute to all aspects of the in-house developed event-sourcing platform and vendor system LS2, driving design, implementation, and improvements of scalable solutions, optimizing infrastructure, designing and negotiating API contracts, and supporting automated testing and production support.
