About the Role

Software Engineers at Gr4vy collaborate across product, engineering, design, and other stakeholders. We work in short two-week sprints and regularly share, reflect on, and iterate on our work.

Key Responsibilities

• Influence complex projects requiring coordination beyond your immediate team.
• Communicate effectively with team members about problems and solutions.
• Work with the product manager to scope work that delivers value early and often.
• Take ownership of support tasks to ensure operational stability and resolve incidents proactively.
• Help define and implement monitoring and alerting systems.
• Set and improve engineering standards across all aspects.
• Mentor junior team members to support their growth.
• Model company values within the team.

Minimum Requirements

Strong experience in Python development, preferably with FastAPI. Familiarity with Starlette, asyncio, SQLAlchemy, pytest is beneficial. Ability to write high-value tests and understanding of software design principles.
