In the Liquidity domain, we work daily to help our corporate clients operate more smoothly. Our clients range from small businesses to well-known multinationals, many of which you use daily. Our products include sight deposits, overdrafts, intraday credit facilities, term deposits, and off-balance sheet investments, helping clients manage payments and cash flow effectively.

As a Senior Kotlin/Java Engineer, you will join our Berlin development team, responsible for designing and implementing development tasks. You will also participate in Level 3 production support, focusing on delivering reliable and high-performance backend services.

Your key responsibilities

  • Define the future by working with business and IT colleagues on requirements.
  • Influence architecture by collaborating with Domain Architects and Lead Engineers.
  • Lead by cooperating with team members and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Take full ownership of tasks, including design, development, review, and testing of new functionality.
  • Document requirements, design decisions, and APIs; collaborate with QAs on test automation.

Your skills and experiences

  • Strong Kotlin and/or Java knowledge, including Spring and concurrency.
  • Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
  • Good SQL knowledge, with Oracle optimization as a plus; Linux experience.
  • Experience in building high availability solutions and microservices.
  • Familiarity with modern SDLC tools (Bitbucket, JIRA, Artifactory, Jenkins/TeamCity).
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
