Our Story and Why We're Growing
The mission has started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley, we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp-up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The tasks and requirements of Product Management are varied. The unit is responsible for all activities relating to the development and industrialization of battery cells. Responsibilities include preparing technology roadmaps, portfolio planning, volume and cycle plan planning, and holistic program management for global battery projects.

About The Role

  • Establishing an IRA competence center within PowerCo in collaboration with relevant interface partners
  • Identifying and developing IRA-critical processes to ensure IRA product compliance through proper documentation
  • Developing and defining the IRA product compliance framework, including processes, calculation models, and qualification measures
  • Establishing an IT system that ensures audit-proof IRA data storage
  • Organizing internal and external audits (e.g., suppliers, process partners) to assess and verify compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Defining and coordinating cooperation models with OEMs, American authorities, and external partners in IRA product compliance
  • Continuously developing processes, methods, and IT systems to meet industry standards and regulations, aiming to set benchmarks

Key Responsibilities

  • Successful studies in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, law, or a comparable education
  • Several years of professional experience in the battery, chemical, or automotive industries, especially in process development or product compliance
  • In-depth knowledge of battery industry standards and relevant Canadian and American regulations
  • Experience in conducting and moderating workshops
  • Fluent in German and English
