Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this role is to become the main day-to-day contact for the client, working with the team both internally and externally to ensure the timely delivery of projects. Alongside this, you will be expected to take primary ownership of your accounts and the management of high-quality outputs from the team.

  • Provide day-to-day strategic and scientific counsel to clients
  • Translate client business needs into communications action steps with a solution-oriented focus
  • Deliver counsel and strategy for corporate healthcare and product-related campaigns
  • Manage/delegate tactical and administrative processes
  • Manage client-related financial and business operations for the team
  • Manage junior team members and oversee their projects and deliverables
  • Take ownership of all core account business/financial deliverables
  • Actively participate in new business development when required

Requirements

  • Degree educated
  • Strong healthcare communications experience gained from agency
  • The ability to coordinate multi-regional client teams - globally and locally
  • The ability to develop and effectively communicate project timelines
  • Excellent strategical and tactical skills in relation to integrated communication concepts
  • Excellent communication skills – Fluency in German and English
  • Strong written communications skills – in German and English
  • Attention to detail and good proofreading skills
  • Proactivity – ability to anticipate client requirements
  • Solution-focused – suggestion of ideas and recommendations where appropriate
  • Ability to manage and mentor a team effectively
