We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CEO Communications Expert and strategic thinker to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in shaping and conveying the CEO's vision, strategy, and key messages to various stakeholders, including employees, media, investors, government officials, and industry analysts.

What you’ll do

In this role, you would:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies for the CEO, ensuring alignment with the company's strategy and values

  • Craft clear, compelling, and consistent messages for the CEO’s internal and external communications engagements to bring strategic corporate messaging as well as the CEO’s personal storyline to life in an authentic way

  • Transform complex internal topics as well as external thought leadership topics into high-quality content and storylines for various audiences

  • Working together across teams to help prepare for engagements with a wide range of stakeholders, including media, employees, government officials, investors, and industry analysts

  • Monitor and analyze macroeconomic and sociopolitical trends to provide strategic advice and insights to the CEO

  • Handle crisis communication and develop contingency plans to protect the CEO's and the company's reputation

What you bring

  • Strong background in Communications, Public Relations, Political Science, Finance, or a related field

  • Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills in English and German

  • Strong team player who is also happy to work independently

  • Ability to work effectively and diligently under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledgeable about ongoing socio-political, economic, and technological developments and the challenges, risks, opportunities and transformation they impose on companies

  • Ability to understand the complex, technical topics and convey them in easily digestible and interesting ways

  • Familiar with the software industry and software solutions – understanding of SAP’s strategy and portfolio would be a strong plus

  • Proven experience in a senior communications role, preferably within a corporate or political environment

  • Strong understanding of geopolitical and financial landscapes and their impact on business

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders

  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in a communications role

  • In-depth experience in the software industry

  • Experience in complex & fast-paced global environments

  • International and intercultural experience is a strong plus

  • Experience in financial communications and government relations is a plus
