Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

As our Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will be the strategic force behind our technological vision, ensuring the security of our systems, the agility of our infrastructure, and the scalability of our services. This role is ideal for a visionary leader with deep technical expertise, a passion for innovation, and a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks in the European financial sector.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Leadership

• Oversee all IT operations and infrastructure supporting FundBank’s business in Luxembourg.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and compliant SaaS-based solutions.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and EU ICT regulations to ensure continuous innovation and compliance.
• Collaborate with the CEO and senior leadership to align technology strategy with business goals.

Risk & Security Oversight

• Identify, mitigate, and report IT and cybersecurity risks to the CIO, COO, and Board of Directors.
• Work closely with the CISO to ensure robust incident management and business continuity planning.
• Maintain a comprehensive ICT risk and incident management framework.
• Manage relationships with Cloud Service Providers and IT vendors, from selection to performance oversight.
• Ensure outsourced ICT functions meet FundBank’s standards for security, performance, and compliance.

Team Development & Project Management

• Build and lead a high-performing IT team through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Drive ICT projects and contribute to cross-functional initiatives in coordination with the Group CIO.
• Monitor ICT asset inventory and ensure operational resilience through proactive vulnerability management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, ideally within the financial services sector.
• Experience with Temenos is a strong asset.
• Strong knowledge of EU ICT regulations and cybersecurity best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and manage cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.
• Fluent in English; French or German is a plus.
