Role Overview

As a Sr. Vehicle Test Technician, reporting to the Manager of Vehicle Development, you will be responsible for instrumentation of vehicles for various tests, including dynamics, durability, noise, vibration, and performance. You will collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve data acquisition issues and support prototype builds.

Responsibilities

• Build automotive prototype vehicles, systems, and subsystems.
• Collaborate with design engineers to identify potential assembly and service issues.
• Work efficiently within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Evaluate prototypes on the road to acquire data.
• Service instrumentation systems and wire harnesses.

Qualifications

• Proficient in wiring, sensor installation, and troubleshooting.
• Strong vehicle mechanics knowledge.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve vehicle and wiring issues quickly.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, with travel up to 20% within the EU.
• Basic computer skills for issue reporting.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proven track record of solving mechanical problems creatively.
• 5+ years of experience as an automobile (EV) technician.
• Valid EU driver’s license.

Education

• Master Technician Certification (Kfz-Mechatroniker Meister).
