Responsibilities

Make an impact

• In this role, you lead a dynamic team of 6 Operational Procurement Managers focusing on the EMEA region, mostly based in Dortmund.
• Besides providing leadership, you support day-to-day processes, especially during peak times, ensuring timely process completion and compliance.
• You serve as the first point of contact for procurement-related queries from the Swisslog community and stakeholders.
• Driving continuous improvements for efficiency, actively participating in the digital target picture's development and implementation is also part of your role.
• You upskill and train your team on the latest process changes, assessing a potential shift of activities to a Shared Service Center.
  
  

Application Requirements

What you need to succeed

• You have a commercial degree or similar with robust technical acumen.
• You bring several years of experience in operational procurement and ideally first experiences in a similar role.
• You are proficient in SAP R3 MM (Material Management) with focus on procurement transactions.
• You are experienced in Supply Chain Management in comparable industries and with project oriented solutions.
• Basic knowledge of contract and sustainability regulations is necessary.
• Ideally, you are knowledgeable in further digital tools in the Supply Chain / Procurement field.
• Fluent English and German language skills complete your profile.
