For our headquarters in Hamburg, we are seeking you as Hauptbuchhalter (d/w/m) to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting for two German operational companies and a holding company.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS, and handle group reporting.
• Oversee internal group transactions and ensure smooth processing.
• Prepare VAT returns and annual declarations.
• Assist with audits, especially annual financial statements and tax audits.
• Collaborate on cross-departmental projects and optimize internal processes.

Profile

• Completed commercial training; additional qualification as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) is desirable.
• Relevant professional experience in accounting.
• Experience in group accounting, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of HGB, IFRS, and S4HANA.
• Basic knowledge in cost accounting and budget planning is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Pro@lpha is a plus.
• Proficient with analysis tools, MS Office, especially Excel.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel regularly to Elze.
• Independent, responsible, and structured working style, combined with commitment, motivation, and team spirit.
