Solution Architect – Product Development

Overview:

We are seeking a Solution Architect to join our Product Development team, with a strong functional foundation in supply chain software (Planning / Execution) and deep knowledge of the Retail and/or Manufacturing industry.

Scope:

Core responsibilities include architecting, designing, and developing solution suite offerings for our customers in the Manufacturing and/or Retail Industry segment, focusing on business use cases, processes, and software capabilities.

This role is part of the end-to-end solution engineering team within the Product Development organization, currently comprised of global associates across North America, EMEA, and India, and is growing rapidly.

What you’ll do:

1. Lead the implementation of our newly launched products and solutions at initial customers, collaborating with Product Management and field teams.
2. Contribute to the functional design of standardized business use cases utilizing the latest capabilities released by the larger BY Product Development organization.
3. Develop and execute functional tests to ensure BY software meets customer business objectives.
4. Create templates and artifacts to promote reusability and automation, decreasing implementation lifecycle, reducing post go-live errors, and supporting efficient operations.
5. Prepare and deliver presentations for users, management, and executive audiences.
6. Support the full lifecycle from go-to-market activities, sales, onboarding, to solution operations.
7. Collaborate with field teams and customers to drive adoption of our products and services.
8. Communicate and support business cases to Product Management regarding trends for future functionalities and enhancements.
9. Contribute to documentation, conduct internal training, and support team enablement.
10. Provide development teams with insights on business and domain aspects related to solution development.
11. Stay updated on industry trends and analyze their applicability to our solutions.

What we are looking for:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with supply chain solutions.
• 2+ years of domain experience in supply chain planning.
• 2+ years of experience in product development.
• Understanding of how BY solutions (e.g., Demand, Supply Chain Planning, Fulfillment, S&OP, IO) can be configured to support business processes.
• Knowledge of native SaaS products and concepts like DevOps, CI/CD.
• Understanding of supply chain data, processes, and software solutions.
• Business analysis skills, familiarity with statistical & machine learning algorithms, and SCM concepts.
• Ability to discuss functional and technical topics with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, proactively, and effectively.
• Passion for new technologies, quick learner, good communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and flexible with time zones.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, TOGAF) are a plus.
