Executive Assistant to the Head of M&A Office and Member of the Board of Management

Key Responsibilities / What You Do

Reporting to the Head of Mobility & Assistance Office and Member of the Board of Management, this Executive Assistant role involves providing efficient and high-quality support to the M&A activities of Allianz Partners. You will collaborate with other Board Offices, Senior Management, and teams within and outside of the M&A area worldwide. Your role includes coordinating strategic initiatives and ensuring successful cross-functional collaboration.

You will leverage organizational content and know-how to deliver excellent results, assist in preparing strategic topics, and act as a communication interface between senior management and key stakeholders.

  • Support the M&A Board Member independently and actively, in close collaboration with the Office team.
  • Prepare for Board and Senior Management meetings, including document screening, challenging, and follow-up of actions.
  • Highlight priority changes, upcoming topics, and risks to the M&A Board and Head of M&A Office.
  • Assist in creating high-quality documents such as presentations, briefings, reports, and newsletters.
  • Organize top management offsites collaboratively with the M&A Office team.
  • Support overarching processes involving different company areas.
  • Participate in projects requiring project management and analytical skills.
  • Proactively improve and streamline processes.
  • Handle daily tasks and ad-hoc requests from stakeholders.

Key Requirements / What You Bring

  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in functions such as consulting or project management, with a solid understanding of Allianz.
  • University degree in information systems, industrial engineering, IT, business administration, or similar, with a strong academic record.
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure issues and derive key messages.
  • Proven experience in an international environment with strong cross-cultural skills.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
