DevOps Engineer

For our client, a leading defense tech company, we seek an IT DevOps Engineer to plan, implement, enhance, and maintain software-based DevOps solutions for product-related software development.

Your Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, enhance, and maintain software-based DevOps solutions for product-related software development.
• Work in a Linux-based environment: scripting, automation, code versioning, CI/CD, job scheduling, and code analysis.
• Analyze, design, and develop future-proof applications and systems for software development, such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ansible, Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Sonatype Nexus, and OpenShift.
• Evaluate and contribute to the development of software engineering processes.
• Ensure the operation and continuous improvement of the software toolchain in product and software development.
• Coordinate operational concepts, negotiate and monitor SLAs, and translate them into IT infrastructure requirements.

Your Profile

What you bring :

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in a Linux environment and software development, particularly with scripting languages such as Python.
• Experience in managing IT projects.
• Proficiency in German and English (minimum C1 level).

Soft Skills : Strong communication and coordination skills, willingness to take technical responsibility
