We are expanding our global team and looking for an Accountant to bring their expertise and help us increase the visibility and usage of our product and services.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including posting transactions, month-end close activities, internal and external reporting, and annual audits.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with German GAAP.
• Serve as the sole accountant for the German entity, acting as the primary contact for all accounting and tax-related matters, and liaising with local advisors.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, and prepare annual and other financial reports.
• Prepare and submit all tax filings, including VAT, corporate income tax, payroll tax, and trade tax.
• Coordinate with tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance with German tax laws.
• Stay updated on tax regulation changes and implement necessary adjustments.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Accounting/Bookkeeping for a German company.
• Strong knowledge of German GAAP (HGB), tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
• Highly autonomous and transparent in your work approach.
• Proactive, action-oriented, and motivated to deliver results.
