Job Description

As an Additive Manufacturing Application Engineer, you will be responsible for industrializing Ponticon’s 3DMD technology in collaboration with our end customers. Your responsibilities include:

• Planning and executing feasibility studies, process development, and application projects with industrial clients
• Preparing detailed reports and delivering presentations of findings
• Developing sensor and software products further
• Integrating peripherals and sensors into existing machine platforms
• Representing the company at customer visits, conferences, and trade shows
• Supporting customers during system ramp-up

Your profile

• Extensive experience in powder-based Directed Energy Deposition / Laser Metal Deposition
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, or relevant technical apprenticeship
• Experience in preparing technical reports and delivering professional presentations
• Solution-oriented, independent approach to tasks
• Careful and systematic in planning and documenting experiments
• Hands-on lab experience with a proactive attitude
• Knowledge of other additive manufacturing and coating technologies is a plus
• Motivated, eager to grow with challenging tasks in a dynamic environment
• Fluent English and solid MS Office skills
